 This bull has stood out from Day one.  He is out of the same cow as our Timber bull we used for a couple of years.  This boy will be a female maker.  His 11 yr old dam carries the diluted simmental gene & he appears to have it also.  He has a white spot in his forehead & has developed a light colored spot on his tail.  Don’t let his young age detour you from looking at this boy.  I really like this bull.  We were VERY happy with his gain/numbers at Midland since he was the youngest bull in the pen.

 This is a powerful bull that is a full brother to DY Xavier 028X.  He has the same temperament at Xavier, which is a bit stand offish & not as gentle as I’d like.  He is a meat wagon. This bull is out of one of the cows we purchased from MacDonald Ranches last spring.  His sire is out of a female they purchased from us a few years ago.  He is going to be a big bull.  He is super long, big hipped & super quiet.  Check him out.  His mother is a big framed 3 yr old.   This bull made the Midland sale, but like 11 others, had no bid on him (all good bulls).  He was the heaviest calf of our 2012 calves.  Check out his adjusted 205 & his gain at Midland.  He was the only April calf to make their sale…..that says alot about him!!!!!

This is the youngest bull in the offering & possibly the best red bull.  He is Extremely thick & deep.  I really like this guy.  His mother is a half sister to the 102 cow.  His mother is out of “Montana” who is the number one Rib Eye Bull in the Salers Breed.  He is going to be a meat wagon & has a massive hair coat, like his mother.  Not going to be a big framed bull, but he will put thickness & depth on a set of calves.  Even tho he has a heavy birthweight, I think he could be used on heifers (I attribute his heavy birthweight to his birthdate).  He is being fed/tested at Midland but is not old enough to make their sale.   We are very pleased with his gain of 2.41, considering he is in a pen with 80+, predominantly February/Early March born Bulls.  This boy EXCEEDED all of our expectations.  He has the best feed efficiency of all of our bulls, has a large ribeye, and is SUPER thick. I think he has herd bull written all over him.

This is the oldest bull in the offering & the only red purebred.  He could be your next Herd Sire.  He is a meat wagon.  Not a tall bull, but long, thick & deep.  His mother is a highly productive 11 year old cow that goes back to two of the greatest Salers herds in Montana, Nansel Ranch Company & Jensen Salers.  This bull has the potential to be a female maker.   I have some maternal half sister’s in our program that are tremendous cows.  Probably not recommended for use on heifers.  As he gets older, he looks more like his sire.  His gain was over 3# at Midland & just missed the sale.  He is a phenomenal Bull & look at his feed efficiency.

This boy has been DNA tested.  He is double black, but not homozygous black.  He is out of a good cow line going back to Nansel Ranch Company.  He is extremely long & smooth.  He has a huge hip & has a VERY large Ribeye (largest of our offering) as his Maternal Grand Sire “Montana” is the number one Ribeye Bull in the Salers Breed.  He’d make a tremendous heifer bull.  Not sure why he hasn’t sold yet, as I think he’s the 2nd best bull in the pen.  He’s beginning to look a lot like his sire, but has a better top line.  He has some pretty impressive breeders in his pedigree…Fredrickson Ranch, Figure 4 Cattle Company, Feist Salers, Nansel Ranch Company, Big Sky Salers & Jensen Salers.

We pulled this boy from the 2011 sale offering to use him on our heifers.  His first calves are on the ground now.  This guy is extremely gentle & would eat cake out of our hand already as a 3 month old calf.  Piper is out of the 48Y cow that was the mother to our Great Red bull “Big Red”.  She is a very good producer.  She became a silver dam in 2010.  His nickname is Buster.  I really like this bull.  He is one of those bulls that is very hard to get pictures of his true thickness. This guy has the potential to be a herd bull.   He is a full brother to the Yonkers.  This picture is taken this winter in his everyday clothes.  If your looking for a bull that is VERY easy to handle to breed your cows, this boy is the one your looking for.  His calves are VERY nice out of our 2 yr olds.  Averaged 78.3# birthweight.

I am very impressed with our first calves out of Ulmar.  They are all thick, deep, polled & quite gentle.  This guy has grabbed your attention from day one.  He is super thick & very smooth.  Misty comes from a long line of great cows (we sold her grandmother at age 15 & her mother at age 10). Dean Pike would have liked him in Supreme, except he felt he was too young.   Probably the most eye appealing bull we have ever raised.  This boy could be used on heifers or mature cows.

This is a proven cross….. take a look here.  This guy is a meat wagon & going to mature out to be a huge bull.  He was the heaviest calf in the 2009 crop.  He will put a heavy set of calves on the ground.  He has the best feed efficiency score in the offering, as well as the best ADG.  His picture does not do him justice & true to this cross, he like his older brothers, is super gentle.  I really like this bull.  We lost his mother in the spring of 2010, so he is the last one out of this great cow.  We also sold his great grandmother this fall at age 17.  His grandmother was sold last year to a commercial operation at age 10. He is a phenomenal Bull.
