Pamela is a BIG cow & does a tremendous job every year.  She is out of my Starlett cow.  I’m anxious to see if she passes on her maternal ability to her daughters that will be entering production in the next couple of years.  I had 4 daughters out of Starlett at one time, but am now down to just Latoya & Pamela.  They are BOTH super good cows.

Tennessee is an easy fleshing Montana daughter with a HUGE hip (just like her dad).  She is a Great Granddaughter to our great old 308 Simmental X cow.  The heifer calf pictured is out of Ulmar & is in the replacement pen.  She had a WDA of 3.59.  We are hoping this cow will be in our breeding program a very long time.  She’s the right type.

Starlett started out this life as a premature 40# calf.  She was too tiny to stay out in the cold so was raised on the bottle.  Super Super Lead cow.  She will follow you anywhere if you have cake in your pocket.   Sold in the fall of 2009, but have 2 super daughters & had a Grandson used in the herd.

Spook is the best maternal cow we’ve ever owned.
This maternal trait carries thru to her daughters & granddaughters.
We have 4 daughters, 7 granddaughters, 4 great granddaughters in production.
Grand dam to Our herd bull “Montana“.
Went into the donor program in 2004.
We put her into the program, as we wanted some Stealth daughters in the herd.
She was sold in May 2004 at age 10 due to an injury.

Original Foundation Non Salers Cows

#308Both of these cows are sired by a Simmental Composite Bull from the Emmons Ranch at Broadus.  We have no idea what their mothers were, as they are out of some share cows (all crossbred cows) we used to run & no tagging was done.  They were both born in 1993. Pictures were taken January 2008 at almost 15 yrs old.  We have many daughters & granddaughters in production.
